Reebok and Maison Margiela New Collaboration

Since Reebok and Parisian designer imprint Maison Margiela joined forces to fuse two of their icons with the Instapump Fury and Tabi Boot back in 2020, they’ve been regular collaborators ever since. Recently, the duo joined forces for a the newly-introduced “Memory Of” footwear collection after releasing fresh iterations of the Club C and Classic Leather, and now, the duo is expanding on their ever-growing collection of collaborative efforts with two new additions to their Instapump Fury family.

For this latest chapter of Maison Margiela’s collaboration with Reebok, Creative Director John Galliano has revitalized the core elements of the Instapump Fury with the “Memory Of” house code through newly-interpreted motifs and color schemes. And while some elements of the shoes take inspiration from its predecessors — such as the overall silhouette and chunky sole unit — the back of the sneaker has been remodelled with flexible bridges which normally appear in the middle hole of the PUMP bladder. With this in mind, the bladder has increased in volume and has added a new sense of comfortability with a floaty look. The silhouette is also blessed with a flame-shaped mudguard around the toe box and is also constructed with a mesh and fabric-covered TPU. Rounding off the design, the Instapump Fury comes with an EVA sole and hexalite detailing.

You can have a closer look at the latest Maison Margiela x Reebok collaboration above and both version of the new sneaker are available from October 21 on the official Reebok website.
